Injury Rehab

Here is where we work on getting you out of pain and restoring your mobility.

backacheChronic aches and pain. This sort of pain is oftentimes the result of an old injury or years worth of improper movement or/and tension that has finally caught up with you. Backs, knees, and shoulders are common complaints. Maybe it’s repetitive motion syndrome, such as carpal tunnel.

Acute injury/surgery. Fractures, burns, scars, surgeries, and head trauma (usually concussions or a car accident) can all significantly impact how you move and feel — months and years after you are considered medically healed.

Since anything can cause anything, I have to take a holistic approach to the body. While it all starts with joint mobility, creating proper movement patterns means I look at everything: visual and vestibular systems, respiratory system, lymphatic system, burns and scars, neuromechanics, ligaments, and cranio-sacral. I’ve seen scar work alleviate back pain, collarbone mobility eliminate hip pain, and neuromechanic drills relieve chronic headaches.

I’ll use the Z-Health system and assessment process to help you get out of pain, moving better — and teach you what you need to know to stay that way.
