Serious workout with a casual feel
When I went looking for a workout this summer that could accompany my martial arts training, I wanted something that would be an intensive cardio blast that would also build strength and stamina. Not only did I find this and more with kettlebells, I got the best possible introduction to their use from Jen. While I’m no stranger to a hard workout, I’ve never liked or been good with free weights, but Jen helped me get rolling fast and I was increasing weight and doing an intensive circuit with the class in no time. The workout totally kicked my butt (in a good way!) and without any of the focused cramping or tightness like that from traditional weights. Jen’s class is well-balanced with cardio and strength work and lower and upper body focus, and she’s always coming up with something new to keep it interesting. I’d definitely recommend her training.

Jen fixed my left knee and my wrists!
I had hurt my left knee while hiking. Some days the pain in my knee ranged from a dull ache to a sharp pain. For weeks I had trouble walking normally. After trying various things including seeing my doctor, Jen showed me some simple R-Phase exercises targeted to my legs. Within two days, I was walking without pain and without a limp. Having had such success, I asked Jen to help me with my wrists. I spend over 8 hours a day at my computer. I had started using wrist guards to help me avoid carpal tunnel syndrome. Jen showed me another set of Z-Health exercises targeted to the wrists and arms. The tightness and mild pain were gone the next day. I’ve since returned those wrist guards. To this day, I remain pain free and much more mobile. Thank you Jen.

These movements helped me so much, this morning I woke up as if nothing has happened.
It is good to know that I count count on this technique to take care of myself.
Thanks for your expertise.

Jen won’t be the best kept secret in Seattle’s health and fitness industry for long
Jen Waak of Outrageously fit is the most knowledgeable and competent personal movement coach I know in Western Washington. Her skills consistently exceed my expectations. At 42 yo, 325 pounds, a height of 5’7″, I wanted to lose 20″ in my waist and strengthen my core after a difficult C-Section. I’ve been able to repair damage done to my body over a lifetime in just a few months with her instructing me in Z-Health maneuvers. I can now do things I haven’t done since I was a teenager due to her excellent coaching in Z-Health and RKC style Kettlebell workouts. I look great, feel better, am pain-free for the first time in over 5 years. I’m having more fun than I ever imagined in pursuing my fitness goals.
I’ve always wanted to be strong, healthy and have fun in life. Obesity resulting from life long ignorance and a lung disease caused by air pollution, had sidelined me on the way to live my dreams. I had survived several auto accidents and damage during an emergency c-section to birth my daughter, now age 4. My life had devolved into chronic pain, morbid obesity, profound muscle weakness and regrets about not having enough strength or endurance to care for myself and my family or to keep up with my athletic and active daughter.
I had seen Kettlebells advertised in a King 5 Health report. I had heard rumors that they were helpful for strengthening one’s core and were possibly the best tool for a woman with my health issues, post Cesarean Section. I’m not sure what I imagined my journey toward fitness would be like, but I know I expected a lot of suffering and pain on the way to a lean, strong body.
Instead of suffering, I found play and fun. Jen’s creativity and sense of humor make pushing my body to it’s edge a delight. I show up for our weekly sessions like a golden retriever puppy who can’t wait to go to the park. I stare at those beloved Kettlebells and am willing to do anything to get permission to pick one up and start swinging, lifting, pressing and enjoying them teasing and coaxing my body into a functional strength I’ve never known till now. Nothing could be further from the dire experiences I was prepared to endure. It’s a party and my whole person is invited. My geeky intelligence engaged by cutting edge neuroscience and my heart emboldened by accountability to a coach of the highest skills and integrity, while my body is thrilled in its radical transformation; I’ve never been more satisfied with someone’s professional services.
In only 3 sessions, I became pain-free and have remained so for 4 months. I’ve also repaired my body well enough for it to be happy to lose weight. I’ve already lost 1″ in my neck and and 1″ in my waist.
If you want to have a great time, look and feel younger and possess a body that meets and exceeds your DNA’s potential, see Jen but don’t wait…she won’t be the best kept secret in Seattle’s health and fitness industry for long.

I love, love LOVE working out with Jen Waak
I love, love LOVE working out with Jen Waak at Outrageously Fit. Jen has expert knowledge of Z-Health mobility training, which means that the exercises she prescribes are targeted, precise, effective and they won’t hurt your body. I’ve been training with Jen for about 4 months now and have seen significant pain reduction (I had knee and back problems) as well as increased range of motion in my joints; rather than feeling aches and pains, I feel like dancing! Jen is also an RKC, and thanks to what I’ve learned from her in training kettlebells, I’m getting so much stronger, and having fun doing it. Jen crafted a work-out plan for me based on my goals, is helping me to keep those goals realistic, and on top of it all, is personable and patient while she kicks my butt.
