My Wish for You in 2010
To be Better!
I think that New Year’s is my favorite holiday. Not because of the holiday revelry, but because it seems to be the one day of year where the world unites together in happiness and optimism about the future. As I’ve talked to friends today, checked out Facebook and Twitter, and been online, the consistent message has been of thanks, hope, and optimism for the future.
I’m looking forward to 2010, and I hope you are, too. I leave Sunday for a 6-day testing event to become a Z-Health Master Practitioner (becoming one of the few in the world, should I pass), I have a milestone birthday coming up later this month, and will be assisting at the RKC in Denmark later this spring. Next fall I will finally be trekking up Kilimanjaro, something that I’ve been wanting to do for 5 years and is now becoming a reality.
“Most people greatly over-estimate what they can do in 1 year. And they greatly UNDER-estimate what they can do in 5 years.”
In 2010, my wish for you is to find just a few things to become better at. A better parent, spouse, global citizen, employee manager, athlete — I don’t care. Only you can know what better looks like to you.
Perseverance is king, so work at it — hard. And think of where you’ll be in 5 years!
Happy New Year and thank you for being you.
